So they bribe us to get the vaccine but if you work in fresh , it’s an empty promise? Covid isn’t passed through food yet I am hearing fresh cannot dump their masks vaccine or not. Little discriminatory if you ask me

I struggle to understand what the problem is. There is no system set up to prove if a person has had the shots, I refuse to take the word of anyone who is asked. Produce in particular is so venerable with its cellarer make up. If it is cooked then maybe it would be okay but fresh doesn't get cooks. Maybe I a bit picky but I'm not going to take a chance on it. Yes, I do work at Sam's in a department that stills requires masks and am happy to keep wearing them.
Yes. Apparantly they added it to the fresh dress code. That’s just WRONG. Never had to before. Makes no sense. Just more control over us. It’s horse cr-p really.
Mask will continue to be required for associates working in pharmacy, optical, cafe, meat, bakery and HMS due to the close proximity of associates who work in those areas.
@hoa+1aUYx5Hr, not according to what our fresh associates were told in our morning meeting today. all associates that had the vaccine can work maskless, except fresh. they have to continue wearing masks even if they've been vaccinated.
from what they were told, managers were just informed of this via conference call yesterday.
Always remember any positive coming from home office is always too good to be true or has a catch.
