Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

for Stinky to have a TownHall and explain his crimes to us minions.

Not that Iwant to see the drool coming down his lip, but the Stinky does not have the guts to answer for his crimes or present more lies to us poor employees that he so despises.

At least Iwould be able to charge many hours watching his drool minimized several times. Run them out a some $

@2oes+1aUV32nT : Humility to declare bankruptcy?

Where do you get this nonsense? That was purely to save his money. He never admitted he failed at his casino, his magazine, his water business, his steak peddling nonsense, his shuttle airline, his mortgage company, that 'university' that defrauded people, or the fact that his golf clubs and hotels are hemorrhaging money like a stuck pig.

As for the other guy who said Florida Man did great for America ... when is your next attempt at overthrowing the government?

President Trump had the humiillity to declare bankruptcy and start over when necessary. He branched out into new businesses constantly and didn't solely focus on real estate.

President Biden has stayed in the same failing industry for half a century and his answer to every problem is that we need more of his industry. Stankey has only worked for the phone company. As debt pressures as up, his only answer is that we need more phone company.

How many posts are on this board saying that we'll be able to focus on fiber and mobile network now? It's like no one else noticed that you can get home internet from T-Mobile for $60/month all on, with all the taxes and fees included. Stankey's answer would be to increase fees to make the advertised plan cost 50% more. It's all he knows because it's all he's ever done.

@1rkf+1aUV32nT : Actually, Stink is more like Orange Florida Man: He constantly lies to everyone about everything all the time. He is corrupt, greedy, narcissistic, arrogant, and a bully. He treats underlings like livestock. And he is a completely failed businessman who somehow continues to manage to find himself in positions of authority even though his history is one of failure.

John Stankey is the private sector equivalent of Joe Biden. Stayed in the same industry far too long to lead in an Era of disruption. Has a massive amount of sycophants keeping him at the top. Doesn't have the humility to realize that the company needs a better leader with vision for the future.

Stinky will have a townhall but you are foolish if you think any real or pointed questions will be discussed. It’s all controlled by his minions and they lob softballs at him all day while feeding him grapes and telling him how awesome he is.

Gonna be great. The spin off will deal with streaming without distraction. The other part if the company will deal with mobility and internet. Company will thrive.

Well, he just wrapped up his town hall with WarnerMedia employees. Not sure if he realized this meeting was with WM employees. Based on the conversation, it seemed as though he thought he was talking to Wall Street, justifying why this wasn't a bad economic idea for AT&T and not a f-up by him personally. Didn’t talk to us like we were employees, although Pascal Desroches tried. While many employees have some stock, it isn’t enough to be really consequential relative to our livelihood (jobs). That’s what we wanted to hear about.
I can't count the number of times that Stinky referenced "Pascal said" as if the idea that he could leverage the equity that the former CFO of WM might have and as if that made it all ok.
But when he tried to tell us, "Well I am stretched too" he completely lost me. I love when he said, "I am probably not making people feel any better" and the moderator interjected, "no, you're not."

The worst isn't over yet, there is another year before the spinoff to Discovery is finalized. Many jobs will be slashed to right-size the deal structure for the bean counters, mark my word.

There are some of you who see a sliver lining where T will return to invest in wireless and fiber. The debt and cost pressure isn't going to relent, plus the capital spend for infrastructure won't ease up, and Stankey will mandate for dividends payout as well. Your "competitive pay" will be end in line for consideration, don't hold your breathe.
