I am so happy to have a job that pays me a living wage ! While many of my coworkers get the ax or the opportunity to move to some place far away an uproot their family, only to get the ax 1 year later. Not
To mention the great benefits we used to have. Just those memorable days of health care provided by the company and a nice team award annually of
2 or 3 thousand dollars. Now I am comforted by the knowledge that the good ole boys are wealthy beyond belief and my coworkers and I continue to be gainfully employed and build on this great company and all the wealth destruction the boys continue to do.
After the merger AT&T will be sized to be taken over by Microsoft, Google or some other company with deep pockets. They aready said the dividend will be cut so there will be donward price pressure on the stock. Discovery does not pay a dividend, but may do well because it does not have any AT&T upper management baggage. AT&T has a good network, could invest in it and be very profitable, but not without fully clearing out the current executive management team.
This Stankey dude just had an interview 2 months ago and told the world the dividend was secure and would remain. The dividend would be a lower percentage as the stock price went up. Misrepresenting at the least (LIES). Probably criminal.
Well that dividend cut that is coming will put immense pressure on someone to do something about actions of Randall and Stankey. There is nowhere to hide now that the shareholders are coming after you.
Such resentment of people so much more successful than you are. Some people will talk of a lawsuit but they won't do anything or they would be successful instead of resentful or other's success.

its amazing that both Stankey and Stevenson should have been at ATT in the 1990s when Armstrong did the same bad moves yet they are so arrogant they thought they were smarter. SMHIA
