AT&T needs an independent BOD - not a bunch of yes-men/women. They only know how to do the bidding of the CEO. In the case of the disastrous Time Warner and DTV purchases, they went along with the misguided Randall and his right-hand man, Stankey. They should be replaced and Randall's/Stankey's salary should be clawed back. They all need to learn that bad decisions have ramifications.

I agree with you, I just don't understand why the id--ts have continued to be allowed to run the once might Bell Companies into the ground. But what it looks like is when you get pronounce as president or ceo then you are given the company to play with for whatever reason you want, no responsibilities, no repercussions, it's yours to play with as long as you want. There is hope that maybe one day the chickens will come home to roost when the official dividend cut is finally announced and the plummet occurs, then the attention will be focused where it sould be.
I find it interesting that ATT is doing all it can aggressively to increase subscribership on their Fiber, including reaching out to retirees and quoting a great concession price with no strings attached. Could it be ATT is trying to groom its fiber division to have enough subscribers to gain the interest of perspective buyers.

This buying and selling at lost should be investigated and someone should be fired or go to jail for mismanaging billions of dollars.
