What is there not to love about T? They cut retiree benefits, they reduce salary ranges so many get no raise, they give you poor insurance that consistently rejects coverage on necessary care, they give you vision insurance that pays nothing, they constantly threaten your job with repeated layoffs, they demand you get vaccinated so they can get you back in the office where they can monitor your every move, they reduce your vacation time, the executives make poor investments then ask you to reduce spending, they look for every opportunity to take dollars from customers and reduce what they get in return, no promotion opportunities outside of major locations,.... OK, now I feel better getting that out!!! No reason to stay as this is company degrades
^
Great observation, @1lrr+1aF5jqfQ Unfortunately, ordinary workers can’t change any of this, but we can change the company.

"The fact is Stankey owns his job, for the rest of you the job owns you!!"
If any body who does real work performed like stankey they would be on the first layoff list.
Health insurance provided by T for its employees should be called what it is, catastrophic insurance. The deductibles and co-pays will bankrupt you, consider yourself lucky if you have never had to depend on it.
"If you think you’ve got it bad with company provider insurance, just wait until you’re on Medicare."
Medicare constantly gets high marks from it users. Before you come up with a long tirade just google it.
If you blatantly lie about one thing why should I listen to anything you have to say? Bye now.
When the office opens up in Dallas you won’t be able get near the C-suite. They will work in a bubble, have a special elevator, special UV lighting, air filtration systems, no interaction in the cafeteria and they will have their c-suite disinfected every day!
Meanwhile the rank and file office workers will be able to sneeze, cough and spread germs in the new open workplace.
Nobody has been forced to get vaccinated...not sure who you work for, but that can and won’t ever happen in T! Quit making up rumors that couldn’t possibly be true...at least be believable!
Virus is a hoax. Stop using that to make excuses.
Bunch of crybabies
"they demand you get vaccinated so they can get you back in the office where they can monitor your every move,"
I have not heard that. No one has demanded that I get the shot and become a human guinea pig.
I'm pretty certain that AT&T's, as well as most large corporations these days that have a "high deductible medical plan", are basically self-insured, in that the company actually designs coverage limits, formularies, etc. The Insurance company simply acts as the plan administrator. It's genius actually because it has all the employees complaining about the insurance company/policy/plan when in actuality it's the company that sets up the whole thing. It's kind of like when the iPhone first came out and Cingular was the exclusive carrier. Apple sold the phone and ran off with the cash, but Cingular took all the heat for the network, customer services, etc, all the headaches...
when I started in the 90's the health insurance was among the best but all it has done since then is gone downhill. the insurance is basically nothing and it is obvious senior management would love to do away with it completely. probably why the government keeps pushing obamacare down everyone's throats so these companies can get off the hook.
I love the people with zero self worth who show up here to tell us we should be thankful they're even paying us to work here.
It’s the insurance providers who are gouging the insured. If you think you’ve got it bad with company provider insurance, just wait until you’re on Medicare.
More importantly what’s more irritating is your sense of entitlement. On what planet have you lived where a company that employs you gives you everything your heart desires? Yes, you win the whiner’s award and you’re obviously uneducated about life.
You don’t know that you jack a$$! Don’t be such an a-ho-e on this site! The person was merely stating personal experiences with company provided health coverage or lack thereof!
they give you poor insurance that consistently rejects coverage on necessary care...
Anybody seeing that? I've seen a problem on lab tests that I think should be covered as "preventative" but that is a fishing expedition. "Necessary care" implies a diagnosed illness, and I don't see, nor have I heard of any deficiencies in this area.
I think we're hearing yet another post from a troll, who has already washed out of AT&T quite a while ago, and hasn't gotten over it.
The fact is Stankey owns his job, for the rest of you the job owns you!!
I think while benefits been reduced they are still better than many companies. You should probably get the gold vision and dental if you want better payments. Those are worth it.
Well, just had acdf in my neck, paid for 2 months and out of pocket 2000 of 54000 ,not bad!
hey @qgx+1aJ7JXKg excellent point , yeah I'm sure he'll do much better after he leaves, we wish him well.
And yet, you keep coming back to complain and whine. Here’s hoping you quit the horrible company you despise and find that utopian employer. You’re like a broken record. Dude. Just.Go.
And yet you stay because in reality, the pay is good, the benefits are good. And complaining is good.
