How long can ATT continue to charge a premium forn the 3rd best Network? Cricket is dirt cheap compared to ATT as well.

I just wish I could switch my many lines (kids plus parents included) to T-Mobile. I live in a TM deadzone...Not bad at my own home where wifi can fill in, but I wouldn't be able to have cell coverage walking around the neighborhood....So I'm stuck with T for now.
ATT Employee:
- DirecTv, discount was Fantastic (too low to show)
- ATT wireless, half price for services no equip. Break or incentive
ATT Retiree:
- DirecTv, package went up to $110 month goodbye, hello Sling streaming $30 month
- ATT Wireless, 30% discount for services goodbye, hello T-Mo 4 lines at $29 with unlimited data and they paid off remaining phones $800+.
ATT better wake up!! The att pricing is to difficult to understand and sneaky. TMO was easy to understand, cheaper and service is better/faster/more “unlimited” data!! People are not interested that your name is AT&T. It is about service quality, customer service and price, not necessarily in that order!!
ATT was a great place to work 35 plus years, it is sad to see my old company going downhill, I hope the Management can turn the Titanic around before it sinks. Get rid of all the bu++ kissers and listen to your people, the lower level management and working folks before it’s too late.
Good luck to you all and stay healthy and shop around for YOUR best deal until loyalty to all employees returns (I hope) not just the Sr Mgt.
t-mobile in my are is far superior to my att service.
I moved to tmob after getting laid off & at least in my part of the world, it's a lot worse than att.
They have horrible network management.
Moved to CC with 3 lines unlimited T,T, and D for 85.50 a month. T gave me the same pleasure as a retiree for 130 a month.
How long can people whine about the same thing over and over?
ABA Anywhere But ATT
As a retired 3rd level District SBC employee - I chose Mint mobile who uses the Tmobile Network.
$15.00 per mo. PERIOD. $15.00!!
Excellent service, Excellent English speaking reps and no hidden surprise costs. No more ghost roaming cost when I drive within 15 miles of Canada or Mexico. No Cuba roaming charges when I go fishing in the gulf. Text Talk and Data. Always work and no "wonder what this cost is" surprises.
Mint mobile.
For my Land Line, I use Obihai and Google voice as it is FREE.
Internet is Cox, $21 per year, but you have to call in every year to negotiate the price down.
Sling TV. Free DVR. and I get what DirectTV offers and more and it's cheap- why pay for their
crummy streaming has nothing on it service.
Get all your needs anywhere but at AT&T.
After I was given the axe one of the very first things I did was move my cellular service to T-Mobile. There is no way I will voluntarily spend a penny to help Stink get a bigger raise next year.
But I would have moved it anyway. T-Mobile is simply less expensive than T and the service is about the same. Better, there aren't any hidden fees. I was quoted a monthly price and that's what I pay. No asterisks, no surprise taxes or surcharges. No additional mystery cost. It's refreshing.
Anyone who sticks with T deserves to pay the excess cost. Call it a mo--n tax.
"Cricket is owned by AT&T. "
Makes you wonder if the OP is an employee or simply a troll
Cricket is owned by AT&T.
This cash cow has been pretty successful that last 25 years, not being the cheapest guy in town. They have always claimed quality deems more cost. As long as people pay, they will take.
I advise anyone who loses employee discount to go with Cricket. Zero complaints though abiut those who went to Tmobile. JVB Just Very Blonde.
