Is it just me or have there been fewer layoffs lately? It feels like it's slowed down somewhat.

Yeah, they're waiting to see who bolts because of the insurance subsidy clawback , once they have that number, they'll start looking at who's left. It was also paused on the engineering side because they're reluctantly rolling out more fiber and have to hang on to people for that.
But they'll be coming for you soon enough, they had to spend a ton of money they don't have on spectrum and streaming content.
Working on forcing retirement instead. Also expect reductions around TPG spinoff
And no, I'm not saying there'll be no more layoffs or asking if we're safe, I know better.
