Did anyone get laid off yesterday? I heard WH had layoffs yesterday. ☹️

Yes they did.
This last layoff in February 2021 included 3000 people and 1500 open positions. Any additional layoffs will include people not affected in round one this year. 3000 is not the total for the year unfortunately. Once this Magellan acquisition is completed, the cuts will begin again. There is a tremendous amount of overlap between that company's positions and existing Centene.
To the last commenter, the articles I see state that the layoff in February included 3000 people. I highly doubt that they are done with layoffs this year, sadly - there are still almost 7 months to go.
The layoffs are suppose to happen every quarter. The "3000" that was announced in the beginning of the year was the overall number that they are going to lay off for 2021. They haven't laid of 3000 as of yet, but by 12/31/2021 they will.
the way things are going, no surprise, all over CHAOS! it is a MAYHEM around here, employees are under a lot stress and nobody cares!
I haven’t heard anything. I wouldn’t be surprised though.
