Had a call with my leader a little while ago telling me that I have been tasked to assist in some way with India's training and on boarding for property claims work. Not sure what is needed from me or what I am going to be asked to contribute but I have a call meeting at 6pm with three people and one is from Pune campus in India per outlook. I told my leader that I was not comfortable doing this to help people in India to eventually take my and my peers' jobs. He tried to say that it is an expansion of the claims force to India and not a replacement. Yeah right.... I asked if I had a choice and he said "No". We'll see what is up at 6pm.

OP - that’s been going for over 5 years - since Shapiro first came aboard.
MODS, can you get rid of comments from the gQp cult members that need to muddy up the board? Thanks.
Had a coworker go two years ago to India to train them how to write estimates on cars. Layoffs soon followed
What part of property claims will you be training them to do? Let's get some specifics.
Same here. Since I’m a SME, I’m asked to train those that are taking our jobs. It’s against everything in me to agree but I was told no choice. It’s morally wrong. I thought the Government was to put a stop to outsourcing?!
Pune Will eventually handle most of the claim work and SIU
Be careful.. that’s Allstate’s way to have you train your replacements, then lay you off..
