I love how we constantly see reminders about how lucky we are to even be getting a bonus and they decided to continue having a bonus program at their discretion. There is one main reason why they will never get rid of the annual bonus or LTIs. They both enrich our management way more than the employees. You get $20k they get $200k so there’s no way it would go away. Don’t get me wrong I am very happy to get a bonus, I know many industries don’t give bonuses or LTIs so it’s not that I’m not grateful. I am. I’m just not naive to believe management does it for my benefit, they do it for their own as it is very lucrative for them. Just take a look at the annual corporate statements and you will see the LTIs are a bigger portion of their compensation than their salaries.

This cracks me up. If you are dumb enough to invest in CVE for the dividend then you are plain ignorant and should seriously get some financial assistance from an advisor. Many other stocks offer way better dividends like Enbridge or Suncor or so many others. I worry for your future if you’re actively investing in CVE.

Biggest bonus I got with an EPC here in cowtown was $1,250 so yes like $100/month so please stop complaining. Go get a real job if you’re not happy. You had good years good stampede parties good free swag and sunny Friday’s and all those other flex days. So why dint you leave your oil and gas job to the rest of us who wanna work and not whine whine whine. It’s a merger for god sake. My shares need some live. You should have worked harder so I could get a meager dividend. I didn’t get free or discounted shares as y’all did. So get over it please.
