Anyone else’s club have managers who never leave the office? Now we have leads who do the same ... is it only Michigan clubs??

In the office or receiving office in our club
Yess and only certain leads are able to sit around and yap with them.
- managers especially GM never leave office. There are a few who help when needed. Membership Representative is a joke. Does nothing all day but talk to other asst managers. Waste of payroll. Work our as**es off and schedules are cut . Members complaining about long lines. How do you do that with one cashier?? Let’s cut payroll so managers bonus is that much BIGGER???

Same in our club. We have MSS' who are upstairs constantly while they use the newly created Specialists to be mini MSS'. They stand up front hanging onto the clipboard with the daily schedule, They act as if they are military drill instructors. I mean really? One person gets involved in personnel issues, gossips and constantly complains. We have a MSS who takes hour long lunches all the time. I am sure she is fixing her time and stealing time. The front end is a sh.t show for sure. Mss" are backstabbing each other, trying to the "Queen" of the club. God help us if they plan on giving these people more power. They have no leadership skills. And why is this happening? Because are not present, that's why. What a shame.
You should count your lucky stars. To have managers who never leave the office would be our dream come true. Ours never goes away. It stands there micro managing every little thing. From how you take groceries out of the cart and "arrange" them on the belt, to how you put groceries into the cart. Seriously, give thanks that yours never leaves the office.
