I can’t imagine wanting to be a Manager now days at Sam’s. Back when there was plenty of payroll and actual Cashiers on Registers to assist our members and not make them use self checkouts and wait in lines 10 people deep it was a good job.
Now with all of the abuse you have to take because Member Service is GONE!
As a company Walmart has lost sight of how important it is to take care of the Members.
Too many YES Managers and the Good Ol Boys Club still exists in most clubs even after all of the Discrimination lawsuits. It’s sad to see where Sam’s is headed in the future. Amazon knows how to treat their Customers, Associates and Managers.
I’m so glad I left when I did. Sometimes it’s hard to make a change but when you do you will be glad you did! Ask everyone that has left and they will tell you the same thing!

I don’t know where you work but the Sam’s I work at is a complete disaster!
Lines backed up members are forced to use self check out of they don’t want to stand in line all day, Associates calling off and nothing being done to hold them accountable and managers don’t leave the office!

Company has never been stronger. Don’t get left behind. Easy job and decent pay. Smile, show up on time and for your shift, and get paid. Easy going for an after school kinda job.
