Actually there are already India employees licensed as adjusters. Have been for a while now. As long as the employee is considered home based in the USA and the license appointed by Allstate those in other countries can be licensed as adjusters and other insurance licenses by many states.

You do realize that not all states require licensing for adjusters and, furthermore, it is not true that all states do not allow people from other countries to become licensed adjusters-for example the statutes in Texas state "resides in this state or a state or country that permits a resident of this state to act as an adjuster in that state or country" can be licensed as adjusters.

Legally you cannot license property adjusters in another country. Additionally, the litigation that would evolve from this would be substantially more damaging than the savings in payroll.

Former senior outside auto kicked out the door, working @ a collision repair shop now. Esurance claim being handled by India, new allstate claim being handled by India both were last week. They push real hard for VA app settlement which I declined. Both ended up being handled @ desk level auto by photo. Geico, Progressive and many independent adjusters are back in the field doing inspections at shops and homes.

It's not possible to send all claims to India, we still have field adjusters needed in property. Moderate and Large Loss. Maybe MORE claims to India, not all.

That’s what I am hearing. Since we had to get licensed, can they license people in another country to handle our country?
