Word is, Tempe is planning a move?

Has anyone else heard about product moves from Tempe R&O? I heard it today.

Folks.....you are not getting it. The decision to close sites is made by Darius. It doesn't matter if the backlog grows and the transition goes poorly, the ALT gets a big pat on the back for headcount reduction and 1 less roof top. Future performance by the receiving site will be blamed on the leadership at the site. Heck, can performance really get any worse anyway, Madsen has only eroded performance accross the board since he put his hands on ISC. Only the maddog can get promoted when OTTR and PD get worse on his watch. Get with the program and find a new job......HW aero will have no sites left in a few years. They are putting everything in hubs so they can sell pieces.

Transition manage, she never has known what she was doing. But she traveled with those in charge and she was a rock star.
Really she was a tyrant worried more about perfect presentations then she took the credit. No one she ever maned had any re-elect for her.

Did some transition detail planning before I retired. Ran the numbers for qualification requirement and determined that we weren't staffed to support it by about 2 or 3 times number of people. Reported to Transition Manager and was told to plan it anyway. Wait for it....."Assume infinite resources!"

I suppose it comes down to your definition of the transition team - is it the higher ups who make the decisions, or the people who help support the move as best they can with what they've been instructed to do?

The only moves that matter are the US employees moving to ex employee status.
Honeywell needs to drops another fifty percent of workforce to hit target margins.

Uh, the initial phase of the plan is developing the plan. Which includes headcount. True, leadership can override the plan but data should support the plan.

to be fair @ija+19gOm3VP - none of this is the transition teams fault, they're just executing the plan in the amount of time they're given to do it as best they can, they don't even really get to make decisions about it

As planned? What part of the "plan" included sending all the work to Temp without adding headcount? We knew this was going to be a disaster and now we are being forced to work OT on top of it. The ALT and transition team can take this backlog and shove it up their a$$

True. The Anniston/ Tempe transition hasn't gone as planned leading to major backlogs. Then again, has any of these transitions been any different?
