Buy an IA company, sell the prop life company and then announce relationship with home warranty coverage with Home Depot? Where you guys been the last two days on this one?

The issue is that the core business of Allstate has gone to hell to be replaced with warranty business such as “square trade.”
The “new” Allstate gives the worst service in the industry to high paying auto and homeowners customers...
I don’t think that is something to celebrate.
Not sure I understand the issue? This is SquareTrade, which provides warranties for appliances, power tools, etc. It’s great news. My view is we should celebrate when an Allstate business win a major account.
These ridiculous actions shows that this company's direction and future is being led by clueless lesrons that have no real plan or direction. They buy market share instead of trying to improve and better what they have. True signs of a lazy leadership and those refusing to change what is broken. Buying market share only goes so far when your in place philosophy destroys market share. And trying to buy market share and dabbling in home and product warranty protection where your business philosophy has already proven to be a failure where there is a lot more competition than P & C is only going to lead to disaster, more money list, and more layoffs bringing the once proud and now failed Allstate brand closer and closer to the abyss and final ruin.
