Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Outsourcing in digital

huge long term contract with Indian agency. parallel offshore digital teams of dev, pm, design...even accessibility roles. two offshore teams for every onshore. said it was b/c there’s not enough talent in US. or maybe because they don’t pay benefits, overtime, and pensions offshore. here we go into the abyss!

It is the toxic managers who were hired from outside brought the ideas.

This is just another phocktard excuse made by US Bank to save money on labor and expenses.
There are MANY valuable IT professionals in the US who understand English well, can communicate well and projects don't need to wait until 11:30PM to engage in a call with the team lead in Bangalore. Bankers don't care / understand / want to deal with the tech guys. They just want to throw time and money to donkey ideas and put pressure on IT to deliver. A toxic dump is what US Bank has become.

There is a lack of talent in the United States (who is willing to work 16hrs a day for $4 an hour and get fired on the spot for making a 5 cent mistake)
Such BS there are so many talented technology people available for work after the 12 month USA layoff fest 2020.
