Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

"Retention" is no longer in Allstate's vocabulary

They have stripped the agents of almost all feasible retention methods. The allow zero exceptions to underwriting risk guidelines, they have eliminated ASAP and all other escalation areas to fix problems and issues that cause customers to leave, and they are slowly moving most all customer facing assets to India when most Americans frown at dealing with foreigners with something as important as insurance.

There are no longer any grey areas and grey areas are where at least 75% of retentions lay in. This is either being done on purpose for some ludicrous reason or we are in the throws of some of the biggest gross negligence and mismanagement of a corporation top leadership in modern American business.

50 Shades of Gray would have looked even more dumb, if that's even possible.

Would you happen to have some Grey Poupon? Grey vs. Gray. Hah, you're just not very well read.

Criticizes India. Spells grey like an Indian, not gray like an American. Why?

Fingers crossed that retention will continue to tank and take those smug looks off those corrupt faces..

That is because Tom Wilson, Glenn Shapiro, and the rest of the clowns in the Ivory Tower in Chicago have zero clue how the insurance business works.

I am an underwriter and I have to also agree. I HATE turning away loyal long term customers that are a good business case to reinstate/renew. Our hands are tied and most of our ability to make exceptions or decisions were stripped away.
