Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Can anyone confirm?

I read in another thread that an employee’s position in 24hr banking was being eliminated and that several others were on that call. I haven’t heard anything since. Can anyone verify this and if any other BUs were affected?

I really wish there was a week when I didn't hear about somebody being cut.

The management in US Bank is equivalent to a fast food chain in a bad neighborhood. You will grow your career if you play their games. Multiple examples, such as Levang in TOS and their little midgets. Saw too many good and hard working people leave or let go unfairly. Toxic environment and toxic practices all over. Get our while you can.

They are not replacing or filling any positions. Lot of bankers and managers left within the last 2 months, they will not open new Reqs. That also is a good indication of potential cuts. Seriously, US Bank is not a company to work for. Neither is wells or chase. I”d say go to a credit union or just find another industry all together.

They are very sneaky about the cuts and they have it down to a science. You have to sign non-disclosure forms to get your severance. You are cut off the network before you know what hit you. The people who are left don't talk about it because they are in shock too. It's a toxic environment & everyone is in fear based reaction mode. I worry about getting another job in the pandemic economy, but I'm glad to be out of that psychological torture chamber.
