Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

Lumen/CenturyLink abandoning rural America?

Is StarLink shutting down Lumen providing consumer DSL in rural America? Looks like it. Lumen isn't selling anything. We have to support legacy technology with no tech support. There is no morale. No management to speak of. So what gives? It just doesn't feel right.

Of course you don't get that in their voice message, you have to look at the message on Team speak that states this while they are Red and indicating Busy, or white saying out of office.

DSL is old school. But with this real waste of time and money "rebranding" not only did we get Lumen(not too bright) but we got Quantum Fiber(paper tiger). I doubt we'll see any improvement in rural America or the Suburbs anytime soon.

It’s quite obvious that the leaders of this company don’t have a clue about telecommunications! They’ve faked it the entire time as they say perception is 90% of their jobs! Here’s how you write an email to show your value! What a joke!

But by god do your Health Certificate...the mo–ns just don’t get. Unwilling to put any money into fixing cable, almost taking offense for someone even asking to replace anything.. A second level even saying “our cable plant is in really good shape”. Wrong!!! All they do is sit behind there computers all day watching the metrics. If a guy has an extra twenty minutes dispatch just loads another ticket to him.. no maintenance whatsoever..unreasonable expectations!! Sinking ship for sure!!
