Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Is tomorrow the day!?

All Claims town hall meeting tomorrow. Will they say anything about potential layoffs? Or just give us a bunch of fluff about the future of the company?

At least for Claims, everything was hunky dory in March 2020.

Then Tom slurred something about layoffs in an April 2020 Town Hall. (He disappeared for around three months after this point.)

Then-we had to agonize for two long months until they finally dropped the bomb in June 2020. Inexcusable waiting that long.

Finally - the layoff were Thanksgiving & Christmas 2020. HoHoHo.

Now- Are they going to do the same shuck and jive? Repeat the mistakes of the last few years? I guess we'll see soon.

Good luck out there in Allstateland. I just want to be let go, take my severance, & walk into the sunset!

You must remember that leadership in this company is unoriginal, unskilled, ignorant, and outright stupid. There for I expect the same pattern of nonsense as last year...the March and April lies denying layoffs, the May "Transformative Growth" sunshine pumping, and then the June lay off bomb.

These corporate hacks are so predictable. I just hope I get selected this year. Claims is off the rails and we are at the point where we aren't even able to function as a department.
