Bonus Payment

Question(s) for other 2020 or even 2019 surplussed folks.

1) did the company contact you to let you know the prorated bonus amount prior to payout (3/6)?
2) did they direct deposit it or mail. you a check

I left on my own Nov '20 and haven't received anything yet. Was a L1 manager.

Of course T never bothered to inform me about the amount. I woke up today (3/6) and saw the bonus was directly deposited.

To be honest, it's better that way. Any time I get any communication from the T-holes I just ignore it anyway. I'm not 100% free of anything to do with T or Stink, and I could not be happier.

If you leave voluntarily this year/get job outside ATT, do you get any bonus next March? Or do I forfeit since I’m leaving on free will?

OP here, I concur with the person re: direct deposit. I got mine today/last night. I am grateful for it. Its exactly as I calculated. My only issue is I messed up and closed an account for a fixed deposit and now have to chase down that deposit. Good luck to everyone.

I've been told that direct deposits for former employees hit accounts last night

They offered me no bonus when I left in 2020 (August) I was craft so it probably would have been $1

Thanks for the answers. Good to know I’m getting something. I was fortunate to land somewhere two months after t gave me the boot. I wish you all who remain the best of success. Take care.

they're not going to send you a note about the amount. Like everything with T, it will be a surprise

I really should proof read LOL. but you get the idea.

Look at YTD on last paystub (prior to severance), subtract unused vacation pay (on same stub) subtract bonus received on March 6th of same year, subtract your Jan 06 paycheck since it was r the prior year, then multiply by your bonus percent.

"Easy to calculate within 1$... ((Base Salary as of 1/1/2020 times # of days from 1/1/2020 to 2/29/2020 divided by # days in 2020) + (Base Salary as of March 1, 2020 times # of days from Mar 1, 2020 to 12/31/2020 divided by # days in 2020)) times Bonus % for your job level/title."

Why make it difficult? look at last paystub (prior to severance), subtract unused vacation pay (on same stub) subtract bonus received on March 5th of same year then multiply by your bonus percent

All funding will occur via direct deposit.

Actually, you need to replace 12/31/2020 with your last day on payroll and replace # of days in 2020 with # of days from 1/1/2020 to last day on payroll.

thanks, but thats not the question I asked. when I was an employee I knew my payout amount prior to 3/6. they said it was an estimate but it was usually correct.
