DTV employees enjoyed HUGE retention bonuses when the M$ron AT&T leaders purchased DTV. As if DTV employees were leaving .... I know some who got enough to just retire. Stankey is a clueless guy, arrogant, ignorant who ruined AT&T.... what a shame.

Yes, same as all of the others "offers" out there.

You don't like it? There's the door.

Negative ghost rider, all DTV employees will be removed from AT&T payroll with the completion of the transaction. Give it about 3 years and the new DTV will be sold again once TPG gets a return on their investment. No good outcome for employees when an equity firm buys your business.

Extremely doubtful. The new masters want to keep the most seasoned bees. Then later the revisioned micromanagers will come to tell you everything you do is wrong.

Must be all that legal weed going around if they dream dtv will be revived. Att tv is the only viable format...barely. Dtv is circling the drain, nothing will change that. And if starlink internet works well then dtv and dish are worthless relics at that point.

Let me rephrase: would there be an opportunity available to video group (including other groups)?

Why would they? No one else is being offered 1 so what makes DTV so special.
