April layoffs in Claims

How reliable is info about Claims layoffs continuing in April? Not that it would come as a complete shock, but I still thought it'd be a bit longer before more cuts.

I feel the hair on the back of my neck starting to tingle. Very bad MOJO from this plan ... not going to achieve what they think they will achieve IMHO. I understand "diversity" but have a hard time understanding "stupidity."

Please explain how the leadership meeting confirmed layoffs? Don't they have meetings every month?

The claims leadership meeting earlier this month all but confirmed an eventual movement of most all claims related functions to India starting around April and continuing for months after. Praise was given to those working to train and license India employees for claims functions.

Now this is not going to happen overnight. April is when it starts and is likely where the "claims lay offs in April" misinformation all came from. Once the movement of claims to India starts it will certainly be noticed by claims employees and will likely draw concerns. I would expect mass claims lay offs in 2021 but likely not starting until late summer/early fall at the earliest.
