HON's only purpose in this (testing and distribution of the vaccine) is self interest. 1. Ensure everyone is on the floor to manufacture, repair, and ship product (unfortunately the commercial airlines still don't have many flying customers and don't want parts). 2. Get the office employees back in a building so that there is no WFH, which DA hates. 3. Hit the revenue and profit targets, make Wall Street happy, and keep those executive bonuses coming. Do you seriously think they care about employees after all the lost benefits and RIFs over the past 5 years?!?!?!

Just say for religious reasons you won't take it. I've read so much on this topic and have changed my mind, I won't take it.

Employers should not have the right to mandate a vaccine or any other medical procedure.

You'd better take your medicine, otherwise the work will be shipped to Arizona! Ask your fellow co-workers from Renton, Wichita, and the other shuttered sites that make up the balance of Olathe's work load. Rules for Thee but not Me.

my willingness to go thru with any medical procedure is no business of some random security guard. That is between me and my doctor. If i am ever asked, my answer will always be "No Comment"

I think companies should not be able to buy and vaccinate their employees, IF they do it out of the priority list sequence. This opens the door to leave the elderly without vaccines, in lieu of an excuse to quickly recover the economy.
If companies want to support the vaccination, let's do it with the same priority as all other people, so it’s less obvious money rules.
As a younger person, I’d refuse to get the vaccine if my age is still not in the priority list. But I believe in the effectiveness of the vaccines and I’ll be glad to take it when my group is eligible for.

@1qfl+197prmV0 – Hey there Skippy, you go ahead and refuse the vaccine. There are a hundred people eager to take your shot. Millions have already been vaccinated and the safety is being demonstrated. Again, if you are a vaccine refuser you are a dummy and Darwin has your number.

1enu,

What a stupid and insulting comment. The vaccines were rushed thru, and until they are proven safe, there are many people who will be in the wait and see category.

Well if they can actually provide a vaccine I'd consider that goodness.
If you refuse maybe you aren't smart enough to remain employed by Honeywell or anyone else.

I am not at Olathe, but we will also be asked and you can say what you want. The purpose, at least at our site in PMT, is to get a count for how many vaccines we need if and when Honeywell is able to get us a supply to provide to employees.

Is it a yes/no only type of question? Can you state a qualifier condition? Such as; "Once it is shown to be effective against all variants of the COVID19, I'll take it."

I just want to keep working from home until I retire.
