I am sure, the HR department was so busy to get everyone's package ready. All they have to do, is to follow minimum labor law ,so their a– is covered. Again, no one care.

Cenovus packages are very generous. Dont waste your money. Or risk getting less
I will definitely see a lawyer and also go to the media if I get laid off. Unless my lawyer advice me not to go to the media.
They are so afraid of the victims being layed off going to see a lawyer to ask for a better package.
They want as many people as they can to sign off on the package so they can dispense of you as quickly as possible. All done under duress which is not only morally and ethically wrong but in fact illegal. Everybody should go to a lawyer for a free 30 minute consultation. Get the Lawyer to write a letter. It might cost you a couple of hundred bucks but you will be surprised at the results. At the same time make sure to post on social media and let the news media know. You can do it all privately using the TOR browser or using a VPN. What they are doing is morally and ethically wrong and is in fact illegal. They don't want you know how easy it is to get a better package. Don't be afraid just do it. They need to pay for this. Dearly.
In the fall there were a couple discussions re. systemic racism at Husky and the implications to layoffs and they were repeatedly deleted as well. This was before the Cenovus announcement.
Basically if you mention anyone by name Cenovus can ask for it to be removed. That’s how you can tell they are watching.
Hopefully some employees will go to the media. Cenovus is breaking all kinds of laws by doing this.
I don't think HR or the companies really give a rats about what is on this site. However, if there are names being thrown around and people are being slandered the moderator for this site is likely removing those kind of posts.
I have no idea.
