So my manager ask me to stay late and help out closing merchandising team they was short handed so the next day the GM called me into office and ask why did I get overtime I said my manager ask me to stay and help the merchandising team he call my manager in the office and straight up lied to the GM like it was nothing I said no you ask me to stay late and pull up cameras and see your not going to lie and throw me under the bus.

Good for you. They did something similar to me one lunch no breaks 15 hour hell day for an event. I was told it would be OT. They made me cut the rest of the week taking long lunches and coming in late. Never will do that again.
