Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Was the corporate transition to avoid layoffs??

Recently 100+ employees (case managers, toc, etc) were selected to break away from the California plan to go to corporate. Yes it left some but was this in lieu of layoffs? Anyone have insider details?? We had a meeting asked why and how those were selected. We were never given an answer and management only beat around the bush. We are scared over here. California plan is suffering due to the extinction of cal medi connect (MMP) Medicare enrollees. Enrollment is down but why the split?

This transition has happened in all states. We were told in EA that it happened to about 800 employees throughout Molina.

California is expensive yo. Every cent not taxed or spent on overregulation by the Great State of California is a cent that can be spent not laying off workers.
