Any word on us losing our discount on directv once it’s sold? No option to go back to U-verse

It's pretty sad when you put your blood sweat and tears into a company and you can only say the best benefit left if tv service. You don't need that anyways. too many better services out there and try to work towards a better career and have faith in yourself that att is not everything. I remember getting free cell service which att took away and we hd to start paying, dental insurance cp limits decreasing, going from carryover time ogg to use it or lose it, 401k, where they put their contribution into att stock and not buying others, deteriorating work culture and managers that only save their own skin where they used to take pride in getting their workers promoted because it looked good for them. Happy I am gone. I though when I was surplused it was the end but, my health is so much better, I am better mentally and spend more time with my family and pilot my own plane. for those of you still there don't sweat it and I know it's hard but, many folks went on to much better things by the blessing of not listening to quarterly conference calls always telling us we're safe for now but may not be around net quarter. No way to live.
I liked youtube tv but the in laws downstairs are not used to the streaming services. Still on that old school cable box feeling. S—s cause im currently on uverse but even at u300 plus hsia my bill still reaches close to 130 a month, ridiculous. comcast gives its employees premium package and internet for free and never understood why we cant even get that.... I had DTV before with our discount but switched to uverse cause my dtv was F'ing up and switched back to uverse. Come to find out that the legacy DTV guy installed it wrong so I say F it and lets try again......Dont want to go back and lose uverse and regret my decision if discounts get dropped. OP talking.
No one knows the answer to that. Some of the deals proposed have T maintaining the majority stake, we may be able to keep it if that's the case (just speculation). $10 DTV package is really the only good benefit left here.
