Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Will Honeywell keep cutting benefits?

The companies has gone from pension to 401K to free cash flow, not because they do not generate the amount to pay employers who dedicate their life to the company. Also, accumulative vacations to unlimited which is completely false, just another way to again free cash flow and make the stock look better at the expense of workers. Overtime pay, non-existent! I have seen the company take and take only the VP, CTO, and CEO benefit from the million dollars deals and exclusive power.

Compare your current benefits to the benefits in your hiring package.

How do they compare now?

Do a timeline and note how long you worked and received those benefits as stated in the hiring offer.
Mine were for about 2 months, then the recession of 2009 hit. Reduced work week and pay followed by furloughs and the reduced 401k contributions. Don’t forget how many times they clawed back the raises

Honeywell always has a reason to cut back on the employees to prop up the stock price.

The new Honeywell now offers you a job but immediately furloughs the employee by delaying the start date and then Effectively RIFs the employee by retracting the job offer.

If an older employee, ride it out and pray. If middle aged, make your move as soon as possible, every day here is a day wasted.

If starting your career, just don’t do it here.

Remember it’s a job, not a career

I just hope the smart folks at companies like Sine wise up and bug out before even one of their ideas get used to enrich the oligarchy.

Leave now before they s— you dry.
Don’t be Norcross Safety, intermec, EMS ....

Pensions are less and less of an issue as there are fewer and fewer permanent employees and the average duration of employment is shorter and shorter. Of course, the loyalty and mental effort put forth by the employees is reduced accordingly.

The incompetence of leadership becomes ever glaring when its the end of the year when leaders start to get anxious about their own MIP metrics and makes rash and foolish decisions. They get into childish rants when its not heading the right way. Should have figured it months ago instead of the Christmas week. Imbeciles!!!

Honeywell is slowly moving to India and Asia.....they no longer want to be a US corporation....they just take technology made in the USA and give it to foriegn countries...time for our Government to put tariffs on corporations not countries.

All are affected by the pandemic however the degree to which this company shows lack of care for its workers, plain old greed, blatant incompetence of leadership who keeps getting promoted, 'yes sir/mam' culture giving a false sense of progress when it is actually going the wrong direction. The decline is observable, accelerated and alarming on a daily basis.
