Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Enough with cutting of benefits

I'm so tired of the constant hammering from the powers-that-be as they nickle-and-dime everything possible for the people who deliver the work. The bottom line is - don't expect much from the company beyond salary, and be glad for whatever you do get.

None of this will ever help the company recover from the real problems it has. I'm glad I knew the real Bell/AT&T before it became SBC trying to disguise itself as AT&T.

Perfectly said, @xhj+18quMePL.

AT&T just cut my vacation days by 7 for 2021. Waiting for my salary to be cut as well.

Spread word of these cuts to the media. The government and public are very sensitive to a company cutting employees and benefits during this crisis. Customers will leave if AT&T is seen as harmful to American workers and AT&T will tone it down to avoid a public backlash

Complain to our VP of AT&T Employee Experience. We seriously have a Vice President for that. A Vice President.

I don't know why you are complaining about benefits. They are just realigning them for when your job moves overseas. You didn't think they were going to keep paying you to sit at home doing nothing?

Stanky is worthless. McElfresh is a piss head. The leaders are all pieces of sh–.

The more they cut, the less the employees work.

Happy employees work better.

With the worst C-Suite and Board of Directors in the history of corporate America employees of AT&T should expect nothing more.

Your Board and CEO were hand picked by Stephenson - your champion of the T-Mobile, DTV, and TW deals.

Elliot Management has proven to be a false hope.

You are your stock price.

Thank you Randall, and Merry Christmas.

In any corporation with a board that gets it, Stankey would never be CEO. This guy was behind the disaster of DirecTV purchase. He took that product and with bad marketing of raising prices destroyed the customer base and then offered a competing online service at less monthly cost and expected people not to go for it. You can't make this sh** up.

What we are seeing are employee cuts and benefit cuts to pay for his mistakes. He is doing the same thing to Time Warner now.

If not for Covid and importance of connectivity from home, he be cutting more telecom side employees. That board and Stankey both have to go.

It’s unfortunate that our bold (expensive) strategies have not paid off over the recent years. If they had, you might expect more bonus or better benefits, etc. It’s wrong to cut benefits of long-term loyal employees who followed direction from upper management. Instead they should take away from the ones who implemented the failed ideas. No accountability! Executives become millionaires set for life, and the worker bees who did nothing wrong have to worry about how they will cover monthly bills as more and more is taken away.

Believe me cuz I see it everyday and you’re right...there are employees sitting around for more than half the day everyday collecting a hefty paycheck! Yet, T decided that the best way to reduce cost is to cut benefits! A new senior management team would be nice right about now.

Gotta make cuts somewhere if they’re gonna keep paying folks to sit around for hours on end .

This company was always about trying to reinvent itself, but they’ve really reached an all-time low this go around! Cutting benefit expenses has never been an ATT approach to cost cutting...it is now and will become just another mediocre company out there! It will no longer be a sought out and prestigious company to work for, unfortunately!

Expect nothing as to not be disappointed.
Smile, wave.
TRY TO RUN THEM OUT OF $$$$.
All directives shall be by email so "I can refer to it later if need be. TY!!!" Forward it to yourself.
Never contact the company's EEOC, HR.
Always go to the feds. ALWAYS.
You folks who think they give a rat's a$$$ about you are naïve.
Never answer the cell phone. Make them leave messages. Do not delete them.
Show up. On time. Every day.
Fly low.
Be smart enough to play stupid.
They make the rules. Use them. Document.
Stop whining......plat their game. It's easy to e better at it.
Profit.

After this display of arrogance by AT&T, there is no reason to have any loyalty
