Horrible AT&T management is the result of hiring and promotion quotas of people who have few skills, little valuable experience, and no history of success at anything difficult.

Kinda like signing the BLM leader Patrice Colure to a multi million dollar “production” deal with Warner Media when she has never produced a single thing and has zero experience? Then lay off tenured, respected producers in LA t try hat have 25-30 years in the biz?!

I was at the same meeting with him & your right - his point had wrinkles. He needs to iron them out for a crisp presentation on a night out with us boys. Presentation is everything you KKknow. His point is spot on however.

You must mean the entitles LDP and TDP. Hire college graduates pay them 130k to start and given them a lifelong network of people to promote each other.
where have you been ....t only promotes the good ole boy way....been here almost 30 years. there is no quota you either part of the boys network and you get promoted.
That's a big part of the problem. The other part is the kind of manager that the company trains candidates to be. Managers here aren't trained to be leaders, they are trained to be numbers driven, rule enforcing, cold hearted robots.
Of all the managers I have had at this place, I would never regard any as a leader I could trust or respect.
