I haven't heard from HR about this yet (go figure). But I had two team members that had a great year. In a typical year, I'd have at least 2 slots to grant a "high IPI" award. But with IPI going away, are they SOL for 2020? Or does the loss of IPI only start for the 2021 performance year? I'd hate to have to give them a $500 or $1000 or whatever the floating awards are, since they've been accumulating these accomplishments for the entirety of 2020. Does anybody know for sure? Thanks.

There are definitely IPIs for 2020. They’re gone for 2021 payouts replaced by the glorified on the spot awards that will be paid for performance throughout the year instead of in a single lump sum.
There sure is. Stankey will urinate on a $2 bill and mail it to you along with a pink slip
The payout aka "IPI" is gone. Another payout will be in place, yet, not details are available from the HR heroes. When management wants you to get something done, they get really specific and measurable, agree? Now, this new payment scheme, it is neither specific or measurable, what does that tell you...
you're a manager that would handing out an IPI, yet you're asking about it here?
bollocks!
Their IPI is...they got to keep their job this year. Get ready for the first week in Jan...already heard that heads will be rolling. Need to get more folks off payroll, before the start of the next fiscal year.
"Team"
Perhaps your "team" could share with you as part of the "team"
I just worked some OT and was guaranteed my "bonus"
Hope your "team" comes through for you.
Or you need to collaborate more.
Or get different uniforms for your "team"
This is why you folks have difficulties.
It's a job. Nothing more.
There is an IPI for 2020. The online form for distributing it has begun to show up for supervising managers. I don't know the values available yet.
they had a great year? a,sign that layoffs are coming, LOL
