People leaving because leadership retained are not leadIng into the future even with a “vision” provided (not spelled out step by step). Some leaders retained fooled the company regarding their capabilities (performance rating) coupled with assessment (does not really account for leadership and decision ability). When going through massive change, you need people willing to RISK TAKING CHARGE AND RESPONSIBILITY. There is lack of direction because leaders retained have never been able to make decisions, accept responsibility and lead! And then, of course there are those who think things “are not their job or responsibility”. I am a stockholder so hope you all work this out.

The last entry "allstate hires nothing but the best " " does not micro manage" "duh" get a grip on reality, crawl out from under the mushroom you inhabit. Not sure what your job title is or what state you are in but your statement is so far from the truth the majority of us experience.
It just sounds like you people are bitter that your not a CSL. Allstate hires nothing but the best. That's why they dont micro manage because they trust that the people they chose to work for the company are adults and professional and able to understand responsibility and lead from the desk. CSLs are just very well paid guides that are to clear the obstacles away for the adjusters and processors to work more efficiently. Duh!!
Interesting to quote Warren Buffet...he's the CEO of Geico. Perhaps that's why they are a better company.
