It's really sad when the company is so far gone that employees are determined to leave no matter what. I've been looking for a new job for a few months and as soon as a half decent opportunity presents itself I'm gone. And there is nothing Allstate could offer that would make me change my mind (not that they would, of course.) Not even doubling my pay would make me reconsider. This place is just so toxic that leaving is the only thing I can do to preserve my mental health.

I worked there for 10 years... left 2 years ago. Best move I ever made. Stress level went down significantly and I make more money!
I know there are some trolls on here who state people posting here are "whining"... But Allstate truly has a toxic work environment. If you are unhappy, you should definitely leave, as you should with any job or any company. Look for companies that are not as beholden to major stock holders/boards of trustees (they are few, but they are out there). I did my homework and landed at arguably the best insurance company to work for.
So sorry for my former brothers and sisters going through the same stress that I went through.
