Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Vicious cycle

There is no leadership of any kind, home office support is completely gone, the company can’t pay their vendors, professors and students are realizing that the textbook industry is a racket designed solely to squeeze every dollar out of the customer and so they ' re wising up. Follett is trying to force schools into Access because that’s the only way they’re going to make money on books in the next few years. Stores are operating with a skeleton crew, so customer service takes a hit, which makes customers not want to shop here. It’s a vicious cycle.

That’s right @etp+18RGQF16, and I would call it a vicious cycle too. I’m afraid there’s no way out of it?

Too many mistakes in decision making by senior leaders since 2013. Follett will not recover. Family getting maximum dividends right now, ahead of paying vendors etc. The writing is on the wall. Eventually they will try to sell it what is left. They will likely dump FHEG and keep FSS/B&T
