Up calls soliciting people over the phone( Rsc)

Management making all rscs solicit companies to join att. Is this ethical ? Can I get the union involved ? Ten calls a day from every rep I feel as if this very illegal yeah I get att are scum bags but if I don't do it what will happen. Become a target ?

The answer it's Business needs. You're a– is theirs from when you clock in until you click out. I'm glad I'm not working at this place.

Hahahaha it looks like there's no traffic in the stores so they need to call to get customers. I think the union can't,t do sh–. The union it's friends with you're Manager so they won't do anything to help you.

It’s not if the job description has changed and the phone numbers are prescrubbed for compliance purposes. Back in 2004/2005 we had to make 50 calls a day using the ROCCS system. It was mandatory for RsCs

I've said this in several previous posts regarding the exact same subject.

Anything UP Tool (Ultimate Prospector) or Salesforce related is 100% voluntary, and you cannot be disciplined for refusing to participate.

It's in myCSP, it's in the PLE courses we took regarding both, and it's been confirmed with our Union VP in our area that you cannot be disciplined for not participating and if your manager tries, it's grounds for getting the Union involved.

And if they try some nonsense like having you sign some document that refuse to participate, don't sign it and get your Union rep involved.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, people need to learn how to stand up for themselves and utilize the protections they have.

You don't realize just how lucky youd be if your manager is stupid enough to retaliate against you.

As usual, ATT is a little behind the times. As it is illegal, unethical, and most people don't even answer the phone for callers they don't recognize any more, smart businesses have given up on cold calling.

Let me ask you this. Do you personally answer your phone to unknown callers ? ......... Anyone ? Bueller ? Bueller ? Ya that's what I thought. Cold calling makes about as much sense as tits on a boar
