In times like these, I often sit in my Dallas compound reflecting on things like good fortune. As we finish 2020 and leap into 2021, I wanted to leave you my thoughts on these things. You are all sooo fortunate to be working for me.

As a 1st level manager I came down with the mumps. My boss told me I would have to take vacation time off because mgt doesn't take sick days. Up to this time, I'd always take an ewp or vd. Pis55ed me off so I got a Dr's note- gave it to my boss and told him to code it any way he wants, but not my vacation time.
It never got coded.
Few years later after getting 5crewed out of getting my phone billed franked (boss didn't want to bother a 4th levels time filling out the form and that F–3r told me that I could afford $23.00 LD bill - while doing companhy business) O.K.
Later, when that JA was on vacation - I took a 3 week vacation to Europe & didn't code it either. Guess I forgot.
Kinda more than made up for getting cheated by that BOZO.

In our yard when a fellow worker comes down with the Covid , sometime later management sends out a email to a small number of my coworkers explaining that someone,who will remain unnamed,has tested positive. Everyone in the yard immediately becomes aware of this news and are extremely anxious and wanting more information. But as we go into the Christmas holiday we get nothing. We dont know if we have been exposed or not. We go home to our families not knowing if we are bringing home the virus or not. Coincidentally , the supervisor of the yard goes out on a " 2 week vacation " during this incident . Coincidence ? Who knows. The company that says they are very concerned for our health and well being during this worldwide pandemic is keeping silent. Why ? Because they seem more concerned that some techs will cheat them out of money by saying they came into contact with the unnamed technician. Very , very wrong !
