What a horrible company. Yes I worked there. We were told to lay-off dozens, then rehire people a month later. Over and over. Told to lay off managers at one brand while told to hire new managers at another brand in same airport. Hertz would not allow a brand transfer. Unreal.. Just ignorant leadership at mid level and top. HR And Corp are pure Evil. What’s amazing is the stupidity and dreadful leadership continues for decades and decades, even after ceo and top leadership changes. So you can see they promote the worst people possible up the ranks to replace the last bad batch that gets fired. It never gets better. Revolving door of ineptitude. Continually rated one of worst companies to work for. Couldn’t wait to leave them. Hertz would do everyone a favor and just shut it down. Let people move on to something better...anything would be better.

Hertz has downsized and restructured. They will be returning portions back into the market.
Hertz will not go away anytime soon. There maybe restructuring but hertz corporation will live a lot longer
It is going to liquidate. No upside for Hertz. Bye, bye, enjoy to soup on the bread line.
Everyone just keeps saying the company will liquidate. First it was they would run out of cash in the third quarter. Then they wouldn’t make it until years end. Now it’s Q1 or Q2.
I can't wait.
There will be no more layoffs at this time. All the staffing reductions have been made. The next step will not be layoffs. Once the company runs out of cash and the debtors see no light at the end of the tunnel doors will simply close. Employees will show up to work and be told the operations have ceaseed. There will be no forewarning of this coming it will just come to an end.Expec this to happen in Q1-Q2 2021
