Given the management team put in place I give Cenvous an absolute max of 5 years before they have to sell themselves. This is proving to be a combining of inadequacy rather than a synergistic blending of talent.

Agreed. Top management will botch the integration, get bored and decide to cash out their golden parachutes. Management is the main reason Cenovus was in the top-ten worst places to work in Canada a few years ago. They would still be there if not for all of the fake positive reviews posted on Glassdoor since.
