Just watch for the key words. Create synergies. Streamline processes. Restructuring for working at the speed of business

Software founders typically stay with the product for a certain number of years after the acquisition as part of the deal because the acquirer doesn’t want the product to fall apart. Why on earth would a software CEO want to work at Honeywell under DA or QD? That’s a major demotion. After software CEO that gets brought in by MSFT, AMZN, GOOG, FB, AAPL etc. gets to be respected and paid much better than Honeywell could ever imagine. Honeywell will never be able to buy the next Android mobile operating system because the founder would never pick up the phone for Honeywell.

Honeywell keeps promoting itself as a software company. Why is it buying a company known for manufacturing fuel cells. Why isn't it using it's money stash to buy up other software companies and drive them into the ground?

Looks to me like a typical Honeywell goal. Aerospace without people.
