I understand we want to get rid of it, but why would anybody buy it? What kind of motive could somebody have to plop down a major amount for something that has consistently been losing users in hundreds of thousands each month, 600,000 being the latest drop?

Most of you have no ideal how this company eats itself i see it everyday customer was one service sales teams tells customer to cancel account and starts a new account that was the trend for awhile now they are selling and locking customers in 2 tv services att tv and directv customers have no ideal management says its not are problem so we don't care or report anymore
Satellite and AT&T DirectTV are dead, too many better options for cheaper... thousands of dishes and cable boxes along with tons of cash wasted by consumers who are done

only selling a 20-30% stake not entire company. bids are coming in under 20mil or around 2X EBITDA. they can hold majority share keep milking customer base and selling ad space and let someone else manage.

was looking for a second house in the country and they had direct tv satellite. first thing to go in the trash if I buy the house that is main reason I would be buying the house is to get away from everything and get unplugged.
