Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Stephens on the earning call tomorrow

So here is an assignment - when you listen to the earnings call tomorrow count the number of times Stephens says "Frankly". That's the minimum number of times he will be lying.

Just an FYI

If AT&T had spent a fraction of the money to try to acquire T Mobile, buy DTV and Warner Media, AT&T could have built a fiber network that was second to none. Now, we have a great "leader" b–ching about the fiber build out putting pressure on profits.

How to tell if a CFO is lying? offering too much detail in inconsistencies.

The strategy stank that resulted in no growth, massive debt, never ending layoffs , reorg after reorg is the legacy of RS , JS , JS and JD . NOBODY was against it or played devils advocate

How much could the dividend be increased if that debt had never been incurred in the first place? How about taking just the debt incurred by DTV purchase and divide that by the number of shares and then spread that over say five years or 20 quarters. It's a LOT more than $.01 per share.

All the mistakes that resulted in very unproductive debt is a disgrace. There is a reason Elliot went after you in the first place and why the investment community has assigned a share price of $26 and a yield approaching 8%. Don't provide any platitudes about paying down the debt as if that is an accomplishment!!
