Do we really need an “outside eye”?

“This is what happens when the so called leadership listens to the outside consultants instead of investing in your employees and R&D. Ship's sailed and resembles a cruise ship with failed engines in the middle of the ocean.
Employee career development? Zero.
Constant threats to complete the useless corp training or get dinged in the performance appraisal? 10000
Watching friends and colleagues get thrown out and those jobs/functions immediately reappear overseas? 100000
Oh, but give us your best ideas for new products and watch how we tell you this will be the best company. “

I'm just very sad that this company literally takes all the good ideas from people who are coldly rejected afterwards - all orchestrated by the outside consultants. Don’t we know how to solve our problems on our own?

The company runs better when the technicians do the job and the managers that are left hide under their spreadsheet.

This is due to the fact that the last major hiring the company did was over twenty years ago. They've been laying folks off ever since . . . . . .

love all the youngsters thinking all the 50+ employees are the problem. don't worry you will be there someday. I left att in my 50's after 18 years and don't regret it at all. both places have been night and day compared to the nwo cesspool att. I would suggest all the youngsters do the same and don't waste your life at att. it will never change. I always kept thinking it would change and it never did thinking it would turn into a cool tech company but it went the other way lol.

Here is the deal...90% of ATT employees are 50+ yrs old. The mgmt needs to go! It’s readily apparent, they don’t know how to run a company. The mgmt chain should be cut by 75%. The employees base needs to shed all the sandbags.
