Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

ASAP

Many if not most of us in ASAP have taken the assessment and are well into the waiting game. We should hear our fate in the next week or two. I keep hearing the outcome will be harsh but let’s hope that is disinformation. Good luck everyone!

There's gonna be more than half laid off. They're not going to need that many people. I've read that the last day will be nov 28. I think ASAP will be told at the very last minute so the work will be done. I have heard that the people that have been laid off are still waiting on their severance packages. Good luck.

I left Allstate recently because I'm not waiting on them to decide how I will proceed with my employment. I fired them as my employer. I would not want to stay bc they will lay you off eventually. I think they will train the CCC and move everything to Charlotte.

Oh yes. Surveys were cut too.
Our leaders had to take assessments too. They are just as in the dark as the rest of us, sadly. This whole process is disheartening and I don't really know what I want my fate to be at this point. Do I want to stay? Allstate doesn't feel like a great place to work anymore. The severence is pretty good and I may find happiness somewhere else. My worry is finding a new job in this pandemic though.

For the below comment they cut off aces surveys as well a couple months ago. I am almost positive their cutting half of us..and I don’t think we’ll find out until next week.

Where are these rumors from? I am in ASAP and haven't heard these things. The only channel gone is agency submissions.

All the while a new hire class proceeds on with training. Why even hire a new group and put them through training of processes that will soon be obsolete along with their position. The cost alone to recruit, interview, hire, critique training to virtual learning, so on and so forth. A costly blunder in which an established representatives position potentially saved.

Rumored up to 80% of us getting let go?Sadly makes sense considering how they shut down almost all our work channel and just doing DOI and corporate inquiries.
