This is DirecTV Now part II. Launch , crash and burn.

Don’t let them fool you.

Different , as in confusing in terms of how it interfaces with existing product. Different, as in premium pricing for an odd hodge podge of stale content. Different, in terms of it being unavailable for use on platforms the consumer is most comfortable with. I’d say they succeeded.

Remember the Old HBO?Rewind time 3 years.. HBO executives had have been so consistent for years at producing quality shows people were willing to pay extra for.

fast forward to today: The fact that AT&T changed the HBO business model was for the worst, while failing to release a cohesive streaming service.
It is surprising, That's practically purposeful sabotage, during a time when streaming is booming.

Different = getting his a– kicked by every other streaming service.

To be different = an excuse to charge more = future failure

Just charge the same and make a product just as good, identical if you can get away it it legally.

Lol, what a bunch of BS.

Who listens to this guy and thinks he's got a serious plan for his streaming product? HE didn't even look like he believed what he was saying.

The only thing I can think of is that these execs are so detached from actual human beings, they think, "yes, yes, a standard family unit is interested in a non-linear curated entertainment product that leverages a vast library of media which is boldly offered at a premium price."

He'll be gone by June. What a joke.

If by 'different' you mean not having any customers or profitability like your competition does, then congratulations, you have succeeded beyond everyone's expectations Sir Stankly!
