Yosemite Sam was a funny reply but it made me realize that John Stankey is Foghorn Leghorn...a bombastic rooster with a loud voice that views himself as all knowing. 😂
John Legere would be a great choice. He certainly doesn’t need the money but he might enjoy the challenge of resurrecting the company than Randall Stephenson and John Stankey have ruined.
John Legere as the next leader is a great choice but he did previously work at AT&T.
The leadership ranks of AT&T have been filled with people whose only claim to fame is not rocking the boat. No innovators. No product geniuses. No one with incredible records of success. In other words... a lot of people just like stinky himself. Go ahead T! Keep packing people into leader slots just because they are female or minorities. If they have the skills, awesome! Anyone with great skills is welcome to lead, but if they only get put in for PR bull____, then no thanks.
John Legere would be a good candidate for T. He can profitably innovate as he did at T-Mobile which is where Stephenson, Stankey and Donovan failed. He has sales/marketing experience which none of those 3 have nor do other internal candidates like arnoldi, Lee, Mcelfresh, Arroyo.... I doubt he has any incentive to take on this mess that Whittaker/Stephenson/Stankey left. One thing is for certain we need No more BellHeads!
I'm sure John will begin to groom his successor as Randy did with him, years ago. John's been in line for this job for at least 10 years.
