Failure, still, from Stankey

So, it’s not just something internally known. The WSJ is still not sold on Stankey being the right guy for the job.

Harsh, but true article. This bit resonated with me, where Stankey was quoted as saying "There’s nothing that’s sacred anywhere in the business.”

How many town halls have they said something similar... 'No job function is safe. No location is safe. Everything is on the table.' So what are we really all about? Are we a communications company? Entertainment? Advertising? What's important to us other than maintaining the dividend? We should be 100% all-in and rallying around our our core business, saying This is who we are! And it's absolutely sacred!

The writer was correct... consumers and investors have to buy into your vision, product or service. They have to want to be a part of it, otherwise we find ourselves pushed off to the side to die a slow and lonely death.

There is already plan by board of director to replace Stankey, as soon as beginning 2021.
