CEO Stankey was an architect of the DTV transaction claimed 1+1= 3 by bundling.
Look at it this way - it makes the T Mobile fiasco look brilliant! Only spent a couple billion to not actually buy it, as opposed to buying it for $40B and destroying the value.

It’s a complete rumor!
what a joke - buy high sell low - works every time.
Never fear ! Att tv is here ! Lmfao bunch of baffoons running T into the ground
Still shutting down 75 percent of core stores by December 2021.
Is att going to still have a stake in the company? Or completely cut ties?
12+18=30B.. Regardless.. What a loss.. So much for the "management genius of JS".. Explain THAT to the 'investors'?... How many jobs will they cut to make up the difference and pay out a dividend?
if DTV goes bye bye with discount, so goes my dish, boxes, and wiring in the trash bin. tired of it anyway! T ruined it!
To whom??? I can’t believe they couldn’t even get $20B for it when they paid $68B. There goes my $11/month tv service
