Rosanne was a much better show
I blame Attorney General Bill Barr, aka evil John Goodman-face for all of Seagate's suffering. Time to remake The Big Lebowski.
I use to think Seagate and WD were putting themselves out of business making larger drives, it makes sense, more TBs, fewer drives, however, the logic is faulty. Data creation is so high that more TBs and drives are needed, which should show revenue flat or up. But the real reason for the decline in revenue is SSD and all the uncreative pussies on here. Get back to work or else SVP BE will process you out the door.
Changes indicate Ops leadership at the top is ineffective and acknowledges it. Time to step down.
@ 17hAzVfa next is huge lay offs in January
Well, fighting for a bigger share of a market that isn't really growing will do that to companies.
If you think about it, increasing capacity per drive means you need fewer drives if you're storing the same amount of data, so unless the price point increases greater than the increase in capacity, you wind up losing revenue.
China close down 😠
It's ironic that STX and WDC are such fierce competitors, yet rank and file employees at both appear to be equally miserable and fearing for their jobs.
Morale is bad too
Working moral is at all time low
KF Chong- hatchet man??
Appears like change of guard is underway in Ops. Engg seems to be eternally broken, systems business is a hot potato. No one holds it long enough, all in all a total failure.
Getting prepped for massive revenue growth and bonuses. Seagate ready to take over the world
What was done?
i hope they close down FRE
