That’s what bugs me the Comms people were bragging about getting hired in there to bolster their numbers. If there was ever a group that did not add anything to our bottom line and get oil out of the ground it’s them and HR. And yet they were allowed to hire.
If your seriously not busy right now, then stand by. HR will be there soon..
Cenovus let go nearly a 1000 contractors between march and june... nearly 25% of our workforce. As they were contractors... it never got in the news.
Thats why we will be asked to go back in soon. Tougher to lay you off via video call.....or perhaps it would be easier? Lol
Oh don’t worry they’re coming, but HR and Comms will quickly displace our lay offs with yet more new hires
